About Michelle

Michelle Diamond is a design consultant specializing in fully-fashioned knitwear, helping brands turn creative knitwear concepts into beautiful, well-made garments that elevate their assortment and brand story.

Originally from Chicago, Michelle earned a degree in Textiles and Apparel Design from Cornell University before launching her fashion career in New York City. With over 17 years of experience, she has worked with notable brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Elizabeth & James, Nine West, and Ramy Brook, creating collections that balance creative vision, technical execution, and commercial success.

Michelle’s approach to design is informed by her deep understanding of the full product development process.  She values collaboration and craft, working closely with factories to achieve high standards of fit and workmanship while ensuring that styles align with company margin goals and resonate with the customers.
